The Barbados-based Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export) in partnership with the European Union (EU) and the African Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Business Climate will be holding a forum in London in July aimed at helping businesses capitalise on the Caribbean’s free trade agreement with Europe.
The second Caribbean Forum (CARIFORUM) EU Business Forum will be held under theme“Making the CARIFORUM-EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) Work”.
The organisers said that the main objectives of the forum, the exact date for which has not yet been disclosed, include creating awareness about the EPA that was signed between the EU and CARIFORUM countries in October 2008.
As passionate as I am about exports, maybe readers of DNO find the “Full Story” article as confusing as I do.
I notice with disquiet that there are no comments on this news item. Perhaps our people are ignorant of the the significance of the EPA but this is a golden opportunityfor us to explore and exploit.
I concur…
I so agree, such important information, maybe they are not interested because they feel it is not gonna have an impact or affect them.
