CARICOM meeting on youth gang violence described as ‘exceptional’

More than fifty stakeholders at the four-day Caribbean Community (CARICOM) sub-regional meeting on youth gangs and violence agreed that the intervention was exceptional in sharing information and in presenting models to address youth gangs and gang violence at the national level.

The meeting which opened on Tuesday (October 5) in Guyana brought together participants from four member states – Belize, Guyana, St Kitts and Nevis and Trinidad and Tobago – to discuss plans to roll out the first phase of the CARICOM Social Development and Crime Prevention Plan.

    Isnt Dominica a part of CARICOM? Why isn’t Dominica a part of this conference and a part of this plan?
