In defense of the Almighty God

At times, we may hear people, including religious leaders, say about someone who has died, “God was ready for the child, so he took him/her to be an angel with him in heaven.”

Does the Bible really teach that God takes children or others to be angels with him? Job 34:10, 12 clearly show that the Almighty God does not do wicked things. Thus, is it reasonable to say that the Almighty God will take a young child from a parent(s), leaving the parent(s) to suffer grief? Remember, even the perfect son of God, Jesus, wept at Lazarus’ death, thus feeling the grief/pain that death brings. (John 11:35) The Bible calls death an enemy, not a friend.(1 Corinthians 15:26).

So would God really do something that grieves parents and others? Psalms 127:3 tells us that “children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Hence, God has given children as a reward, a gift to parents. Are we to say that after giving parents a valuable gift, God takes back that gift?

Therefore, it is wrong to say that God takes peoples’ lives in order to have them in heaven with him. Death is the result of sin, inherited from Adam and Eve, as is evident from what Romans 5:12 states. God simply allows death to occur for a period of time.

Let’s always remember that God NEVER does what is wicked to hurt anyone. (James 1:13) In the future, God will put an end to death and all other suffering at His appointed time. (Revelation 21:3 – 5) For more information, see the book: “What Does the Bible Really Teach?” page 10, 106 – 114.

As I have heard, “As many heads there are it is as many opinions we will get.” This makes good sense to me.
This is the reason why there are many interpretations and some misinterpretations of Holy Scripture based on people’s mentality.
We have no idea why specifically babies, children and young adults die. Why do some adults die at a young age and others die at an older age, even 100 years and more? We do not have the answer. Our limited minds will never be able to fathom the reason.
Why do people die of different illnesses?
There are those who will state they are premature deaths, as also caused by accidents and that they died too soon.
We do not know the whys and wherefores. We should not analyze and parse the reasons. Only God knows. He has the answer.
As for me, I state, “A Loving God knows best.” You may have heard the saying: “God protects us from something worst than death.”
On the inevitable day all will be revealed to us. We will then be amazed and stand in awe.
In the meantime let us accept what occurred, what is and what which we cannot change.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said: “In all things give God due thanks and praise.” This should be our prayer.

Are you kidding? What do you mean we don’t know people’s causes of death. It’s called circumstance. People die of illnesses because they contracted it. They contracted it because they were in the right place at the right time. Same with accidents. People who live longer are because of health reasons or lifestyle. Same with people who live less. There is no such thing as premature death. You die when you die period. It’s amazing how warped some people’s minds are due to indoctrination and religious brainwashing

O boy! I, this little human cell, would be hard pressed to try to ‘defend’ anyone or anything that is ‘almighty’.

The views expressed are very interesting. Wonder what would be said about the suicide in Wesley by the man of God?

    BOY!!!!!!!!!!!
i doe believe it have something more confusing than the Bible

    And worst than religion
We all believe in Jesus Christ but yet we have different religions with different preaching
and that is confusing the masses
And what you believe that is causing those confusion nothing more than the Bible
All religion can take the Bible and show you something to contradict another religion beliefs
Why can’t we just believe in the TEN COMMANDMENTS and finish with that
    we would never go wrong

Thats why me my self just believe in the creator of heaven and earth
    I would say a lot more but…

The bible has countless evidence where God has done grave harm to people. Dozens of passages in bible describe how God killed thousands of people. God has even forced people to eat their sh*% and drink their urine. When God is ready he can be very nasty.

He being almighty and having the power to stop anything he wishes and still allowing it to happen is the same as doing it. Not to mention that everything in existence is his creation. nothing moves without his influence or command so therefore anything that happens in the universe is a direct consequence of something he has done therefore he his directly or indirectly responsible for everything that happens. Or are you going to say that there are things in the universe out of his control? Why people never seem to understand that logic simply amazes me.

May I ask you, was God was responsible for the spiritual death of Adam and Eve? Was God responsible, that Eve conducted an intimate conversation with Satan, which caused spiritual death?

The Holy Bible tells us that God formed man with dust, and He breathed the breath of Life into his nostrils, and man became a living being. Why would God give man Life and take it away, as it happened to Adam and Eve?

Why would God give dominion to a man to live the glorious Life of His Love, and then turn around and cause that same man to do a thing, the consequence that brought unto him and his offspring, nothing but toil, sadness, darkness, suffering, and of course spiritual and physical death.

Yes, spiritual death was the first, and the fatal death that Adam and Eve suffered. The problem with most human beings is that we do not understand that we are simply existing in our state of spiritual death–without Love, which is Life in us. That is the reason Jesus said that every human being must undergo a rebirth. He told Nicodemus: “You must be born again, of water and the Spirit!” “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but Spirit gives birth to spirit”.

Yes, just in case you do not know, when God sent Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden, he cursed them–the curse of our existence, as their offspring today. God said to Adam, “dust you are and to dust you shall return”. Death was not God’s intention for Adam; he chose to die, when he joined with his wife, to eat from the forbidden tree, which God had told him not to eat of it, “lest you die!”

Satan, in the form of a serpent said to Eve, “you will not die!” And she believed him, as she disobeyed God.
Yes, our disobedience to God is our fate of death, as He gave us a choice; obey and you live, disobey and you die.

Satan continues to do that very same mischief in our minds, as he comes like a thief, to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus said “I have come, that they might have Life and that they might have it more abundantly”

You must attain this Life, now, before your days in this world comes to an end, or before Jesus returns to this world. Or else you will continue with an everlasting existence going on and on and on and on——-without the glorious Life of Love. Love, which is the core of God’s Being, the Light of your soul, because of the blood of Jesus Christ. God did not create man to die, man chose death because of his disobedience to God, through the wicked schemes of Satan.

Stop accepting the lies that Satan speaks to you through human wisdom and philosophy. Pray for spiritual wisdom and understanding, and thrive in the Word of God, through consistent and dedicated relationship with Him. It all begins with the Study of His Letter of Love–the message of the Holy Bible.

If Adam and Eve did not eat the forbidden fruit We would not be here today
cause there would be NO death
which means the world would be over populated

Like it or Not they would always have eaten the apple

The Holy Bible tells us God said to Adam and Eve: “Of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for on the day that you eat of it you shall surely die”. Genesis 2: 17

So who told you that the fruits of that were apples. Human wisdom and philosophy right?

Since you are obviously an authority on God, why did he create man? just for his pleasure or to have fun at his expense?

I find it extraordinary that you’re getting into an argument over things that have no scientific evidence whatsoever. Faith is the opposite of evidence by its very definition, so to argue about what people “believe” in is absurd. And don’t tell me you’re actually arguing over what a book tells you. You have chosen to literally believe that book–science does not support it–and so you’re arguing about nothing that can be profitably argued about.

If anyone here can “prove” one thing you’ve said here, then you can have an argument.

To be having arguments about spirits and magical apples in this day and age–no. We need to get beyond all this.

Thinker I don’t think that the Almighty is responsible for indirectly or directly for everything happenning in the World. You seem to forget that there is an adversary who came to steal, killl and destroy! You have to make your choice whom you following – The Father or Satan. One give life (abundant life) and the other comes to “Steal, Kill and destroy”

So basically all those rebutting my comment are basically saying that god is not in complete control. and its not about human philosophy, it’s about logic. So basically according to you guys logic is of the devil, the evil one. So the computer that you are using to read this article and my comment and to post your rebuttals is evil? since it’s design is based off logic by the way…
