A sportsman, whose parents are from Dominica, has been signed by the Oakland Raiders in the National Football League (NFL).

Robertson Daniel is said to be a versitile player with an impressive record.

“In two years with the Cougars, he tallied 110 tackles, three interceptions, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. With 23 career pass breakups, he shares the all-time record for the Cougars with Daniel Sorensen. Not only did he play in 25 games for the Cougars, but he started 22 of them,” one sportswriter, wrote about him. “Daniel is a speedy back that can press the receivers and make plays on the ball giving the defense numerous chances at turnovers and breakups. The ideal situation would be for a team that employs man defense to draft him and let Daniel show off his skills. Although Daniel can play zone, he would shine in a man defense.”

Daniel was born in St. Thomas, however is father, Robert Daniel is from Pointe Michel and his mother, Jennifer Green is from Newtown.

Hello and good afternoon my people. Well can’t we just congratulate the young man on his achievements and acknowledge his parents for raising a productive citizen. We can also say that his parents are from Dominica and hope some day he will visit sweet Dominica.

Well I suppose since Tim Duncan’s dad was from Anguilla…he was born in the VI, and as such, he never laid claim to Anguilla, or vice versa. i don’t recall Anguillans claiming Tim. My dad’s father was Antiguan, he was born in D/A…he was Dominican, I was born in D/CA…does that make me Antiguan? – You get the gist.

Sounds like you are jealous that you cannot be in the position this young man is in. Get the hate out of your heart. Be happy for him. You are just a typical jealous person. Be upset with yourself for being in the situation that you are in.

it’s true. some people can’t face the fact, but unless he has visited and is interested in us…it’s just his parents being from Dominica and it has nothing to do with us.

You know one of Cuba’s best heavyweight Boxes in the twentieth, century, I do not remember his name, but he never hesitate to claim his grand parent was from Dominica. He never set foot in Dominica, I suppose all because of communism! In the 1984 Olympics he wreaked havoc here in Los Angeles, knocking out every one of his opponents.

Yet, he recognized the birth place of his grand parent. His parent, at least one of them was born to a Dominican!

So small minded of you. My kids are not born in DA but identify with DA through and through. Most such kids do

Jeff, are you an idiot, communists or what?

Most Dominicans do very well when they leave that cursed place called Dominica. If his parents did not train him in a very special way he could be on dope right now, or in some gang!

Don’t you know that children born in the Diaspora to Dominican parent has as much rights in Dominica, as those of us who are born there?

All of my children, born in Antigua, and all of my grandchildren born in America, has the right to claim their Dominica rights. That is written in our nations constitution, if it is not in there right now, that means Skerrit, and his circus clowns including the instigator of war in our country, Charles Savarin must have torn out the page on which it is written!

I believe is Skerrit that dictator who thief the page out of the constitution!

      Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhah!

        July 2, 2015

What British passport when and how did we ever get that? sorry dude we never did. we were British only by name. I had a passport before 1978 and it was not British, it may have looked British but it was not. Sorry

Because you are such a MORAN and DNO allows these Stupid- Dumb- Folish -Ignorant comments, that’s where the problem lies. I honestly think that you are jealous of the Dude like you called him. He is proud of his heritage that’s why it is mentioned that his parents are from DA.
