Bin Hammam in cash-for-votes scandal

Accused: The suspended Mohamed Bin Hammam (right) and Jack Warner (left), who quit FIFA this week.

There is ‘comprehensive, convincing and overwhelming’ evidence that FIFA member Mohamed Bin Hammam tried to bribe officials during his presidential campaign and that Jack Warner was ‘an accessory to corruption’, according to a secret report by FIFA’s ethics committee.

FIFA announced on Monday that Warner had resigned as FIFA vice-president and quit all football activities, and the world governing body said they had dropped all investigations into him and that ‘the presumption of innocence is maintained’.

But the full report of the ethics committee headed by Namibian judge Petrus Damaseb which provisionally suspended Warner and Bin Hammam on May 29 says there was ‘prima facie’ evidence that bribes had been paid to officials to support Bin Hammam’s campaign for the FIFA presidency, and that Warner had facilitated this.

    Admin,

I know that this is your spot and I getting to use it for free, and I do appreciate that.

But it is not cool to just delete one’s entire post. In my post I stated nothing that is not historical fact and all I did was question Dominican’s judgement in placing certain public figures in high positions in Dominica all relating to Dominica’s role in that FIFA fiasco.

Like I stated it’s your site and I don’t want to come across as disrespecting you in your own home. It is just a tid bit frustrating to have your post deleted without understanding why.

I do thank you for DNO – home away from home…

Admin; sometimes posts get deleted by error. If for some reason you don’t see your post, re-post. If it doesn’t appear after couple re-posts then it means it did not meet our criteria (see disclaimer on home page). You can always re-post couple of times.

Warner had announced during a resignation-day rant against his opponents — led by the whistleblower, CONCACAF general secretary Chuck Blazer — that such “cash gifts were part of FIFA culture”.

PJ has not been honest with the football public. All of a sudden teams getting money to “establish accounts for the formation of clubs”. Can someone explain that? Some bodys pocket in Domininca must be very fat. Think a change in football is required. To add insult to injury PJ looking for big post in CONCACAF, well i guess jack will help him!!!

PJ is Jack Warner best buddy in Concacaf. Jack admitted that the practice of paying out large sums of cash to officials has been going on for years in Fifa. Now, PJ can you honestly look anyone in the eyes and say to them that you have NEVER received any cash from Jack? Come clean man.

Anyway, you cannot hide forever!!!! Look Jack resign.Your Saturday wil come PJ. Hopefully it will be this Saturday!!!

Mr. John has already puibliclicly stated that the Dominican F.A. was not the recipient of such a cash “gift”. This leaves the question whether he, in person, was the benificiary of such an inducement. Bet the I.R. would be interested too! A firm denial would be helpful.
