Sports Minister it is time Dominica invested in sports for the young people. I know we have some great talent out there. Follow Jamaica’s example when it comes to sport and invest in the young. Laun was great – get her ready for the next olympic in Brazil and a few others.

jamaica has invested in its athletes. They make it their career instead of a one time thing. I wish d/ca would take a look how these countries are using sports to market their country instead of sending one set of plp to go on talk shows to highlight dominica`s eco. did u guys c when the one from grenada won, how they highlighted his country. Millions of plp were looking at that and i bet u this young star has done more in marketing his country than those they are paying moucho to just travel and do nothing. I urge the minister of education and sport to take note. Give Luan and the others the best training and u will c the benefits. #justsaying

Jamaica has had many governments who know how to invest in people. Their governments have not been lovers of pockets, but lovers of people. Can you believe that in 2012 we have no indoor racing track for our youths. That this regime had the gall to waste $27 000 000 on a house. No wonder the country is heading to hell, while some hypocrite Dominicans on the tailboard saying our God Skerrit will save us.Thanks God everyday some people are jumping off.Decades after he has gone the country will still be suffereing from his destruction.
WELL DONE TO THE VISIONARY GOVERNMENTS OF JAMAICA.
    FIRE WILL BURN CORRUPT LEADERS.

What about SMA an All BOYS SCHOOL which is so proud of a little child play for first and second form and from third form no kind of sports. But to think the education officials and government ofcourse support that retardation of the curriculum is even worse. At some time I blamed the principle/teachers, then the board but now it is the Ministry which allows them to operate that way – not a football team, not an athletic team. That hurts me to see the deterioration of our youth when we can do so much to help them.

So Carl lewis is hinting that the Jamaicans are on performance enhancing drugs. Carl Lewis has always been a jealous dude however I do understand the point he made. he said that in the sport right now it is hard not be suspicious. In fact Blake tested positive for a stimulant a few years ago. Bolt on the other hand actually volunteered for drug testing back in 2008.
It is interesting though that Carl lewis was not suspicious of Gatlin nor Tyson Gay who had been trimming time too.

Congratulations Usain. You really bolted for it again. Good job/running. You made your parents, other family members, associates and your country proud. Upon your return a rousing welcome and celebration await you. You deserve it. You worked hard for these medals and additional recognition.
I certainly wished that I had the stamina and of course strength to endure this type of running/ competition. Good exercise.

Jamaicans must be proud. Wow! Gold, Silver, and Bronze inthe 200m run. Bolt, Blake, and Weir were sensational. They had me screaming while they were racing. What great ambassadors. What more can Jamaica want? Jamaica is showing dominance and getting recognition from the super power countries by using its atheletes- Not arms. Go Jamaica; you deserve your respects!! CONGRATS!!! You are now on the world’s stage!

what’s the CONNECTION! It takes too much from you to just congratulate your fellow Caribbean people in the persons of Bolt, Weir and Blake? why are you being so negative and disrespectful uh. That is the moment of the JAIMAICANS and here u r making a MESS of an excellent opportunity to be generous with some words of commendation and support! I am disappointed in you man…..GOSH. What has LABOUR have to do with this! STUPES!!!!!!!
