Dominica’s women’s cricket team was destroyed  in their last match of the West Indies women’s 50 overs cricket tournament, played at Windsor Park stadium on Sunday.

Trinidad batted first and posted a massive 382 for 7 wickets in 50 overs. Cooper scored 155 for Trinidad before retiring hurt. out, then  bowled out Dominica for 82 runs to win by 300 runs, the biggest victory to date. Josly Ferrol top scored with 36 for Dominica.

Jamaica defeated St Vincent by 145 runs. Scores: Jamaica 289 for 4, Jody Morgan 100 and Taylor 89; St Vincent 144 all out, Julian Nero 64.

Guyana scored 207 for 5 in 50 overs to beat St Lucia who scored a measly 39 all out. Guyana won by 168 runs.

In the closest  game of the day, Grenada posted a scored of 73 all out, but were edged out by Barbados who managed 74 for 8 wickets. Barbados won by 2 wickets.

The semi final matches will be played on Tuesday .
