Free fifth day tickets for all cricket fans

Georgetown, Guyana –Tickets for the fifth day of the First and Second Digicel Tests West Indies v Pakistan will be free for all fans.

The initiative is part of the continued thrust by the WICB to reward faithful fans for coming out to the games over the years in addition to bringing fans back to cricket.

Fans will still require tickets to enter the Guyana National Stadium and Warner Park on the fifth days and can collect these at the usual ticket locations in Guyana and St Kitts.

This is the third initiative employed by the WICB following making free tickets available for kids 16 years old and under. WICB has also made tickets for anyone born before June 24 1950 free on account of that date being the start of the famous Lord’s Test when West Indies won in England for the first time.

Ticket prices have also been slashed considerably for the various matches in the Digicel Series 2011.

Fans who want to cash in on these offers can collect their free tickets from the WICB Ticket Office at Bourda Cricket Ground in Guyana and Warner Park Ticket Office in St Kitts.

Tickets will be distributed on a first come first served basis.

Correction: “will NOT LAST 5 days” instead of “will not 5 days”.
