A large crowd was on hand at the RMG Playing Field in La Plaine on Sunday 24 to witness the unbeaten Marinor LA Stars place themselves in the finals of the National Rounders League. They secured a comfortable seven-wicket victory over their rivals Tremors with 13 overs to spare.
Batting first Tremors scored 309 for five in 40 overs; Melissa Tavernier 43; Saran Moise 67 and Editha Jervier 45.
Marinor LA Stars replied with 315 for 3 in 27 overs; Jenny Augustine 134 not out; Sylma Eusebe 58 not out and Mandy Joseph 41 not out.
The league resumes after the Independence celebrations.
