There was only one (1) game scheduled for last night in the Lime National Basketball League at the Lindo Park, after a very late start due to the late arrival of the Faith team.
The game got underway about 9.45 p.m.. The Faith team who struggled to put a 5 together was no match for the Paix Bouche Eagles. After keeping the game within striking distance, the Eagles took to flight in the fourth quarter and scored the first century of the season, winning by 27 points over the Faith team.
Final scores: Paix Bouche Eagles 100 points to RC Enterprises 73 points. Top scoring for Eagles were Lynvor John with a game high 36 points, Andel George 27 points and Earl Mathew 24 points, while Bernard St. Claire 16 points, Wakamie Fabien 14 points and Terry Pritz 14 top scored for the Faith team.
The games will continue tonight at the Lindo Park with two (2) games in the Lime National Basketball League,
Game 1 – Gloria Shillingford Raptors verses Maximum Building Supplies Tigers – referees are McDonald Bethel and Stanley Stowe or Allan Morris
Game 2 – Kelver Darroux Hurricanes verses Tony Prentice Stormers – referees are Donald Burton and Augustus Harris
