Dominica emerged victorious, beating their rival 48 to 39.
The match took place at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Gorn are the days when women used to play netball with their skirts short enough with the pompon and was a pleasure to watch.its not nice to see their dresses so short..

Common these girls need proper uniforms. Butt exposed is very unsightly.
The young ladies look unsightly with those extra short dresses..it looks shameful..I would not like my daughter playing sports much more representing my country dressed like a whore.
@Shame… you have a valid mature point but you could have been a bit more respectful even to yourself firstly and then to us bloggers. The problem is these uniforms were not custom tailored for these healthy and athletic young Dominican ladies. Definitely not for GS (her poor arms must be feeling it). Looking like u-19 team uniform!! The management team should have known better and gone ahead and ordered the wearing (govt purchased) of some sort of spandex shorts or did they? Given the pic at hand it seems doubtful that they did based on what I can see from C and GA. But someone also mentioned that their team MADRAS uniform is equally short… what a gwan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
as a person actively involve in net ball let me clarify a few of your concerns. As indicated earlier, the uniforms are made for individuals the first time but in our layman terms they are recycled. So for instance if half of the players are new next year, they all have to try the uniforms to see which one suits them best.. I always hated that part cause I was the smallest. Secondly Under 23 is a net ball tournament run by the Netball Association of all countries. Players and Association Members have to go around asking for Donations to purchase tickets, and meals, Govt. gives assistance by waving the departure tax too and from the country of origin and visiting. In my days we used skirts and tops showing the colours of the Dominica flag. I guess by looking at the bigger countries like England, even our Caribbean island Jamaica and Trinidad they wear the dresses, we can do so but just a bit longer………. Congrats to them for doing better last year and placing 3rd……

I understand that you have your point, but you cannot classify the girls as whores. This is utter disrespect.
You can say that you are displeased with the dressing, but not brand them.
BTW- if you have kids, please know you can control them up to a certain age- dont drink your soup too hot.
Sktell go and wash your dirty thing. They people are doing something productive with there lives i would suggest you do the same.

Since you feel so strongly about our uniforms you can make a donation towards getting us new uniforms for next year. P.s Uniform length in a tournament is as insignificant as your comment.
Stop being negative and congratulate the young girls for their effort. Nothing here is ashamed. We Dominicans are just too negative. Bringing down our young people instead of motivating them.

So where is our complex, since Windsor Park die, all we do is jump from one community court to another. Who is talking for a national facility ?
