Primary Schools Netball Championship kicks of June 8

The 2011 Primary Schools Netball Championships organized by the Sports Division will commence on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Dominica Grammar School at 2:30 pm.

The Championships will open with a brief ceremony which will be followed by the first four (4) matches of the tournament.

Tete Morne Primary will play Castle Bruce Primary,        Wesley (A) will play Clifton Primary, St. Martin Primary will play Massacre (A) and the Roosevelt Douglas Primary will play Paix Bouche (A).

The championships will be done in two (2) divisions – 10 teams playing in Division I and 28 teams in the Division II.

These 38 teams represent an increase of 10 teams over last year.

St. John’s Primary was the 2010 Division I winner while Grand Bay Primary was the Division II winner.
