Defending champion Goodwill Primary School topped the Valley/Central of the National Bank of Dominica Under 13 Primary School Football Tournament, at Lindo Park on Wednesday.

The boys defeated Trafalgar 8-0; Laudat/Wotten Waven 3-0; Morne Prosper 1-0; Convent Prep 4-0 and draw 1-1 with Roseau Primary School to reach 13 points.

The other schools making it to the next round are Roseau Primary and Laudat/ Wotten Waven.

The next round will be played on Thursday next week.

In the Secondary School Table Tennis, Portsmouth Secondary School emerged the winner in the boys Under 14 division. North East Comprehensive School took second place.

In The Girls Under 14, North East Comprehensive School emerged winner and Portsmouth Secondary School came second.

Portsmouth Secondary School Boys and girls won the Under 16 Boys and Under 16 Girls Table Tennis Competition, while North East Comprehensive was second in both disciplines.

In the Under 20 Boys, North East Comprehensive emerged winner, while Portsmouth Secondary School took second place.

Portsmouth Secondary School won by default in the Under 20 Girls Table Tennis Competition.

The overall girls champion is Aliyah Prince and the overall boys champion is Chea Seaman, both of the Portsmouth Secondary School.

The Primary School Table Tennis Competition will be held on the 13 February 2014.

    Congrats to my cousin Alliyah of PSS. She is just a great all round sports person. Hearts off to the coach of the Portsmouth Secondary School. Keep up the good work.
