Results in the LIME National Volleyball League

The following are the results in the LIME National Volleyball League played over the weekend:

In the Women Division, defending league champion Signman Celtics had to play four sets to defeat former champion Jays Ltd. Acers in a keenly contested match with scores of 24-26, 25-18, 25-14 & 25-23.

Ball-O-Rama women champion LIME Strikeforce made light work of UUA Ballerz in straight sets – 25-10, 25-17 & 25-21 as they started their quest to capture the 2011 league trophy however UUA Ballerz bounced back to defeat Club One St Joseph in four sets 25-17, 23-25, 25-11 & 25-19.

In the men’s category, defending champion LIME Wolfpac was made to work hard to defeat IRI Breakers from Portsmouth in five sets 25-16, 25-17, 13-25, 22-25 & 15-10.

WNT Young Veterans made it 2 of 2 when they defeated Young Tacklers from the Carib Territory in straight sets 25-11, 25-12 & 25-21 and Morning Bird Club Olympia won their second straight match when they won by default over Club One St Joseph 25-0, 25-0 & 25-0.

The league continues on Wednesday when Delhara Celtics plays Young tacklers in a men’s division match at St Joseph from 7 p.m.

    congrats to the ladies of strikeforce keep it going. Celtics know we will meet them in the finals lol.
    congrats to the men as well wolf pac we will be regaining our trophy. congrats to the other teams. keep the sport of volleyball alive!!!!!

    Keep it going ladies!!! The journey will be rough again but with team-spirit and determination the championship will come back home!! Blessings
