Results of matches in LIME National Basketball season

Games continued Friday night at the Lindo Park in the Lime National Basketball season with two games.

Game 1 was in the Kubuli Division 2 between E.H Charles Crossover and Kelvar Daroux Hurricanes. Hurricanes took an early lead and held on to an 8 point margin over Crossover at the half, but the second half was a different ball game. Hurricanes became sloppy allowing the youthful Crossover team to out score them 30 points to 6 points in the 3rd quarter and to eventually win the game by 27 points.

Top scoring for Crossover were Emile Cadaue 20 points, Ethan Boland 18 points and Lyndell Myers 13, while Hilliare Lando 20 points, Keston Williams 11 points and Aldin Wright 9 points in valiant effort for Hurricanes.

Game 2 featured teams from the Domlec Premier Division, the previously win less Dr Mac Prowlers of Trafalgar took care of a revamp Dragon Stout Pros of Grand Bay in a game which was not the best. Apart for some times or flashes of good basketball coordination the game was difficult to enjoy with much arguing with the referees. In the end Dr Mac Prowlers was victorious with a 14 point margin. The scores Dr Mac Prowlers 79 points to Dragon Stout Pros 63 points, half time scores Prowlers 41 points to Pros 39 points.

Top Scoring for Prowlers were national player Junior Isles 23 points, Joel McIntyre 24 points and Craig St Rose 10 points while national player Ramal Carbon 19 points and former national player Shamal Tounge 12 points.
