Results of mid-week National Basketball matches

Results of games played in the Lime sponsored National Basketball League for Wednesday and Thursday this week:

Wednesday Games

Game 1 – Bulls Eye Pharmacy Pistons 78 verses Police Sports Club 65, Top Scoring for Pistons were Hilroy Lewis 25, David Xavier 21 and Cleve Antione 10 and for Police, Floyd Theodore 24, Lenny Dangleben 18 and Gary Benjamin 12.

Game 2 – The defending champion RJS Blazers went down to former Champion Paix Bouche Eagles 73 points to 68 points, top scoring for Eagles were Andel George 34 and Derrison Anthony 26 and for Blazers, Nathan Jnojules 19, Denver Dublin 14 and Ricky Toussaint 12.

Thursday Games

Game I – After being postponed for bad weather last week, the game between ACS Ballers of Bellevue and Juggernauts of Salisbury continued , resulting in another victory for Juggernauts defeating ACS Ballers 57 points to 48 points. Top scoring for Juggernauts Sheldon Vidal 12, Lance Joseph 12 and Dean Vidal 15 and for Ballers Daniel Ormond 16.

Game 2 . Another reschedule game postponed by bad between United Insurance Sharks and Dr. Mac Prowlers was played last night, which turned out to be a very exciting game with a nail biting finish. United Insurance Sharks was able to pull off a victory on the basket with 6 seconds remaining to give Sharks a 2 point lead over Prowlers after a one man effort by national player Bernard Mills to tie the game, but was foiled by good defense by Sharks. The resulting scores United Insurance Sharks 66 and Dr Mac Prowlers 64, top scoring for Sharks were Roy Ceasar 24 and Justin Tavernier 10 and for Prowlers Bernard Mills 19, Ronald Bruno 11 and Fitzgerald Daniel 10.

Games will continue tonight Friday at Lindo Park with 2 games:

Game 1 – 7.00pm DCP Oroginal X-Men vs Maximum Building Supplies Tigers
Game 2 – 9.00pm Pakya Marigot Sonics vs Lime Pros.
