St. Lucia has been training since October 2015 , Dominica started training 1 month before the tournament the team was selected 1 week before the tournament started on April 2, 2016 so does one expects Dominica to perform. Also when the heads cannot come together for a common purpose what do you expect. The youngsters did their best, those in charge have to do the rest

Why should we be surprised? Every dam thing in this country is on reverse gear, so what? We are in love with our unenviable accolade of Cinderella of the Caribbean, so what? We can do nothing good in this country except beg the world. I suspect soon we will be begging Haiti for support in sports development! Hehehe!

“Meantime Dominica will have to settle for last place as they went down to St Vincent at Windsor Park Sports Stadium.”
Take a look at the engine of sports in Dominica and tell me if Skerrit cares about our young people and, if we need another failed minister as consultant, to see why sports is declining in Dominica. Here is the engine:

Minister of sports: Justina Charles. That answers our question right away because Gloria is not and never was a sports enthusiast; not even rounders the lady plays but somehow Roosevelt Skerrit felt she is the best person to be in charge of sports. To me it is like putting salt in the engine of a car and we know what will eventually happen.

Then Mano is president of Dominica Cricket Association. Does Mano have time for cricket when he has a key job in Skerrit’s office to sell passports that always falling in hands of crooks and criminals? We can see the decline folks. Under his watch Windward Island was one before last. Look now Dominica is…

Congrats SLU! With Sammy and Charles making us proud with the T20 trophy, I guess that must have motivated you guys to play harder. In the mean time. Emmanuel Nanthan once again has us in the last kaka rat sport. Mano is too damn busy selling passports and therefore has no time to concentrate on promoting cricket in Dominica. Dominica sure needs a change of leadership if we are going bring cricket back in Dominica. Mano needs to go just as Skerrit needs to go!
