VF Inc Hitters win Petro Carib softball competition

VF Inc Hitters are the champion of the Rayburn Blackmore and Petro Carib 20-20 softball cricket competition in Mahaut.

They met Harris Paints in a nail biting final on Sunday night.

Harris Paints batting first scored 139 for 8 wickets in 20 overs. M. Anthony top scored with 20.

Bowling for Hitters, Cozier Charles took 3 wickets for 25 runs.

Hitters replied with 142 for 6 wickets in 19.4 over’s to win by 4 wickets Andy Mathew top scored with 41.

Andy Matthew was named the man of the match.

Casimir Benjamin who scored the most runs in the competition, was voted M.V.P of the competition while Denver Pacquette received the award for most wickets and Kernel Espritbest – most promising young player in the competition.

    We would like to know when is Blackmore, Roger and Kubuli going to give the prizes for the rounders competition that concluded in June 2013 in Mahaut. Up till now the team from Kalinago Territory have not received their prizes for that competition.

    Great Job VF INC on conquering the Harris paint team. It was a very tight match I must say but you guys pull through. Thanks to Mr Bardouille who saved the day with the fours and sixes.Great Job.
