West Indies will start the first Test match full of confidence as they look to record a series win over England, captain Denesh Ramdin said on Sunday.
The experienced wicket-keeper/batsman noted that the team’s preparation camp went really well and they expect a tough, hard series against the visitors on home soil.
“We have a young team and we will come out and play exciting and attacking cricket. It will be a tough series, with some hard days on the field, but we are ready for the hard work. We are fully prepared,” Ramdin said.
The three Test Matches will be played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua; Grenada National Stadium; and Kensington Oval in Barbados. The first Test starts on Monday.
