Two more pairs of players will book their spot in the grand national finals of the White Oak domino competition in August when the Southern Western district leg of the competition continues today, Saturday June 29.
Defending White Oak Rum pairs champions Lennard and Anslem St. Bernard from Grandbay last week beat three other pairs of players in the Southern District to secure their place in the finals.
They have been joined by the pair of Lenny Dangleben and Reynold Alcendor of the Tremors domino team.
Danglben and Alcendor also defeated three other pairs on their way to the grand national finals.
The White Oak domino league was open only to domino players from Trafalgar, Scottshead, Wotten Wave, Morne Prosper, Laudat, Newtown, Pointe Michel, Loubiere, Giraudel, Eggleston Soufriere and Gallion.
Today’s domino games will be held at the Tambarine Tree bar in Newtown from 5.pm.
