WICB announces Woodworm as new kit sponsor

West Indies players in new Woodworm kit

St John’s, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board yesterday announced Woodworm as the new team kit provider for all West Indies teams.

The three year contract which starts this year will see the West Indies team outfitted with the new apparel for the first time in the ICC Cricket World Cup starting later this month in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Woodworm will supply full team kits for:

1. West Indies Senior Men’s Team

2.   West Indies A Team

3.   West Indies Women’s Team

4.   West Indies Under 19 Team

5.   West Indies Under 15 Team

6.   Sagicor High Performance Center

WICB Commercial Manager, Nelecia Yeates said: “We are extremely pleased to have Woodworm as a partner in West Indies cricket. This partnership demonstrates that there is confidence in the West Indies brand and that we are moving in the right direction as we rebuild the regional game.”

“We look forward to a successful engagement and we will be working together to ensure that the West Indies teams are issued with kit of the highest quality and which have a unique Caribbean flavour in their designs,” Ms Yeates added.

Simon Millington, CEO of Woodworm said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the West Indies on their kit requirements for the next 3 years. West Indies have always been considered an outstanding and exciting team and we believe that is a great fit for us at Woodworm.”

“We have worked very hard over the past 2 years on the clothing side of our business and the recognition from one of the leading international teams in the world is testament to that hard work and progression,” Millington added.
