DNO I am a POTO Labar but I don’t like to see Gonsalves photo on anything that has to do with Dominica because though I don’t hate him, his photo or statements always bring some bad memory to me which makes me feel we really foolish in DA man and it makes me want to question the wisdom of our government. DNO don’t forget this Gonsalves man came right here in Dominica, at our DLP convention, and told us Dominica does not need an international airport and we can’t afford one, only to find out as soon as the man went to his home island of St. Vincent, he rushed to build his airport and now they in the news boasting of how the airport has helped their tourism, employment, economy and things. I really getting angry when I hear him because that could be Dominica. I am sorry but he tricked us really bad man and as a laborite I am embarrassed to the point that I am thinking of opening my eyes next election

Can you imagine if a Pm in Dominica made his son Min of Finance ?

As for me as long as he did not violate our constitution I don’t have a problem with that especially if his son was not born on foreign soil because since he was born in Dominica he would be qualified to hold any office in the country. I really don’t get your point because Ralph did not wrongfully fire a minister to make his son finance minister; he Ralph was finance minister and decided to let his son manage the finances. Who knows his son might be more qualified than he is. Now if his son is corrupt it’s going to be something different. But for now I will give Ralph the benefit of the doubt because he has been spot on, on so many things that we have been off on like the international airport, the sale of his islands passport, and the list goes on.

One cannot and must never attempt to compare Skerrit with Gonzales as far as decency in government is concerned. Gonzales cannot be bought, unlike Skerrit. Gonzales is a strategists and visionary, Skerrit is a tou cho tou Flam, fast food operator of politics and now has Dominica obsessed. Skerrit relies on every Tom Dick and Harriett for guidance, whereas Gonzales is a visionary and relies on and consults his professionals and ministers and other experts within government. Who does Skerrit consults…? The Kokum’s, the ridiculous Tony`s, his scary failed ministers…? his so called advisors….(OMG) etc etc etc….
I don’t think Gonzales has the patience and fortitude to mentor Skerrit. Skerrit is to far gone.

    Skerrit Must Go

@viewsexpressed You have to be sadly mistaken to hold Gonsalves in high esteem. This man wants to create a dynasty in his country. He and Skerrit are equally divisive, power hungry, super sensitive, vindictive, coarse and have the majority of their citizens living in abject poverty. Gonzales would leave a legacy of high indebtedness, intractable political tribalism, extreme poverty, crudity, and egotism. Do a thorough research on him and his tenure in office and I am supremely confident that your grandiose perspective of him would change.

It hurts but we can see that Hon. Ralph Gonsalves is a wise thinker like Jacob and always thinks of tomorrow, while Roosevelt Skerrit is a greedy, selfish, and short sighted person who always thinks of himself and how he can help himself now, just as Esau, who sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of soup, so he could satisfy himself now and to hell with others and tomorrow. Mr. Gonsalves always seems to be on the right track while Skerrit is constantly crying from his old seeds of corruption. 1. Ralph told Skerrit DA does not need international airport and tricked Skerrit into rejecting it. Just last week STV was boasting of air arrival that has increased since the airport while Skerrit has his ministers fighting to serve ration. 2. Ralph said No to sale of STV passport; Skerrit said if not passport then what? 3. Ralph says reduce and reallocate portfolios; Skerrit said increase ministers & portfolios by making even potential candidates minister of UN food distribution

Would you like someone to compare you with someone else? A mother might have twelve children and non has the same mentality.

Why this sudden reallocation of portfolios? Does that make his cabinet smaller or larger? Did any of the category 5 hurricane destroy St. Vincent and the Grenadines and as a result PM Gonsalves had to make these changes to his cabinet? Or as a friend of Prime Minister Skerrit, though he tricked Skerrit to get the international airport, is he trying to tell his friend that with the destruction of Maria that put Dominica very flat and will be in need of help for many years that he should reduce his cabinet from 18 to about 7, so international donors could see he is serious about rebuilding Dominica and needs help? Whatever the case maybe, PM Skerrit should learn from what Gonsalves is trying to say to him because we all saw how he, like Jacob tricked Esau, tricked Skerrit with the international airport and ran to St. Vincent with it. Since that time St. Vincent is enjoying the blessings and financial prosperity, while Dominica is being hit by hurricanes as though we are under a curse

What financial prosperity?!! You people need to get your facts straight before you put out this false information. SVG is not a bed of roses!! Tax like rain, poor health care, roads dilapidated, every d*mn thing expensive, income tax is a bi*ch, import duty to cripple you. The small airports int he Grenadines have more activity than the international airport. And who you think paying hand, foot, teeth, lapo bodah for the airport???? The taxpayers!!
