Sade started dancing at age three in Dominica with Jacinta David’s Childrens’ Dance Classes before her family migrated to Jamaica in 1989.  Her parents immediately enrolled her in the Jamaica School of Dance at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts where she learnt the basics of ballet and modern dance under the guidance of lead dancers of the Jamaica National Dance Theatre Company.

At age 9, she moved to the Tony Wilson School of Modern Dance and then to their senior section – The Company Dance Theatre where she was a lead dancer.

Throughout that period she excelled in her academic subjects, becoming Head Girl at Campion College, one of Jamaica’s most accomplished schools, eventually winning a full scholarship to study medicine at the UWI Mona Campus, where she graduated with honours in Medicine and surgery, a distinction in Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Allan Berry Prize for Internal Medicine and was Valedictorian of the Medical Class of 2008.

The day after she completed her internship, she was on a plane to New York where she enrolled in the Alvin Ailey School of Dance for two years, eventually performing with the company at the end of her training.

Since then she has been a star performer with Garth Fagan Dance based in Rochester, N.Y.

For her dancing Sade has received critical acclaim in The New York Times, NY; The Los Angeles Times, CA; The Daily Gazette, NY; The Rochester City Newspaper, NY; The Fjord Review, CA,  and Arts Meme, CA.  Most recently she was nominated for a Bessie Award (Dance Oscar) and the Princess Grace of Monaco Award for Excellence.
