LIME opens store in Marigot

The new store in Marigot

Dominica’s only full service Telecommunications provider, LIME, is expanding its footprint around the island with the opening of its third Franchise store in Weirs Marigot. The new store which solidified a partnership with  Club DVD will provide a physical presence for LIME in that part of the country, giving customers access to the full range of services available from the company’s flagship store in Roseau.

Some of the services provided at this new LIME location include etopup transactions for customers and vendors, bill payments, bill inquiries, and sale of all LIME products and services such as Broadband, fixed line, Mobile, Netspeak and more. “We can assure customers that the sales representatives at the new LIME/Club DVD franchise store are well trained to provide a high quality of service consistent with LIME’s promise” said Manager Retail Sales, Josephine Peter.

General Manager of LIME Jeffrey Baptiste describes the opening of the Marigot store as a significant achievement for his company. “The culture at LIME is to always listen to our customers and respond accordingly. The people of Marigot and surrounding communities told us they wanted easier access to our products and services and we’ve delivered by collaborating with Club DVD to bring LIME to their doorsteps”, said Mr. Baptiste.

The store was officially opened on Friday and the consistent flow of customers confirmed the need for LIME’s presence in that north eastern part of the island. “This has been long awaited and we are happy that LIME decided to bring its products and services directly to Marigot” said one customer doing a topup transaction. Another gentleman from the neighboring Woodfordhill community was delighted that he no longer had to travel all the way to Roseau or Portsmouth to conduct his LIME business.

The Marigot shop will open between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily Monday to Saturday. Manager Alwin Robin is excited about this new partnership with LIME and says customers can look forward to Sunday openings soon.
The other two LIME franchise store locations are Cabrits Agencies in Portsmouth and Depex in Roseau.

This is a great move. In years gone by, no one would have even considered anywhere else beside Roseau. Communities develop and become self sufficient when appropriate services are provided for those who live there at reasonable cost. A hotel should be next on the agenda followed by a proper supermarket and restaurant.
