The Pope resigns; Bishop Malzaire calls for prayers for a new Pope

Pope BenedictPope Benedict XVI has announced he will resign on February 28th, saying he no longer had the strength to fulfill the duties of his office.

According Vatican spokesman, Federico Lombardi “The Pope announced that he will leave his ministry at 8:00 pm on February 28.”

The 85-year-old Pope announced his decision in Latin during a meeting of Vatican cardinals on Monday morning.

“After having repeatedly examined my conscience before God, I have come to the certainty that my strengths due to an advanced age are no longer suited to an adequate exercise of the Petrine ministry,” he told the cardinals.

“I am well aware that this ministry, due to its essential spiritual nature, must be carried out not only by words and deeds but no less with prayer and suffering.

Meanwhile Bishop of Roseau, Most Reverend Gabriel Malzaire, has issued a statement on the Pope’s resignation in which he calls on Catholic “clergy and faithful alike” to pray for the election of a new Pope.

Below is the audio of the full statement by Bishop Malzaire.

    let see,
the vatican state and the papalcy is simply and institution infiltrated by satan himself from since the inception of pope pius. they, the papal have changed the laws of god to suit their own life style(paganism). they have changed the sabath to sunday, brought idols into the church, crowned the pope an infalable man, live the life of the extremely rich while people are dying of starvation, blessed war lords like franco de mousolini to fight blackmen who had bow and arrows against guns and planes, create saints like saint st theresa st valentines(a priest who had a love affair with a woman), forgive sins(jesus is the only forgiver of sins),killed millions in their war against the protestants, jews and arabs, including the spanish inquistion, had their soldiers like christopher columbus and valasquez killed indian tribes insearch of gold and to teach christianity.
the priest and bishops and the likes have abused more male children than any other organisation in the world.
the church have created jesuits, they are assasins created to kill their enemies in the name of god.
THE BOOK OF REVELATION REFERED TO THE CHURCH SAYING, get out of her for she is drunken with the blood of the saints and matyrs

Please research about the prophesies concerning the one that shall come after this pope.
We already knew that he was not there for long, but is quicker than we thought.
This is really interesting, for those of the Catholic faith.Your affections should really be set on God.The times have changed, and some have moved away from the original foundation, and is now doing their own thing.I am really concerned about you all.
The spiritual climate in the world dominated religion is about to take new twist, and the way things are going I fear that it’s not for the best.Get on your knees peoples, the future of your children’s’ are at stake.

This is very good of the Pope. He chose to leave the office as compared to the Dominican pope that died in office. Maybe for family to claim benefits from this poor country after all they already have.

The man aka Pope has simply gotten in touch with the reality of the times in which we live. He is frail, has a pacemaker, slurred speech, can no longer travel throughout the world as his papalcy demands what must he do, keep tumbling down on his face in public? Tradition is what have so many ridiculing him. He can no longer do what he is supposed to do and rather than putting the church and its followers through misery he has done maybe the most honourable thing he’s done his entire life, step aside. What is wrong with that? So he suddenly is less of GOD because he can no longer be POPE? A role he is appointed into? The bigger lesson is to those who like to hug their chairs and feel infallible to a flaw! At the end of the day he is still a man but of flesh and off woman.

“After having repeatedly examined my conscience before God, I have come to the certainty that my strengths due to an advanced age are no longer suited to an adequate exercise of the Petrine ministry,” he told the cardinals–news article

If the Pope really had a conscience, where God Almighty is connected to us by the Power of Holy Spirit–I do not think that he would receive a message that tells him to resign from his duty because he is too old. 85 years is nothing for a God of Love to do His work through that physical body.

Abraham had Isaac to Sarah, who was also an old woman, when he was 100 hundred years old. And that conception and reproduction was by God’s Will for both Abraham and Sarah.

Abraham went on to marry another woman, after Sarah died, her name was Ketuarah; Abraham had six more sons to her.

The truth is that the Pope is lost in his carnal state of mind, and he has been nurturing the lie which tells him he is old, and the weakness of that lie is manifested in his physical body.

God’s wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and insight, has nothing to do with age–for we have the fortitude that is need to go on until our work is complete to God’s satisfaction.

If the Pope was a man who was “born again” of Love, which is Spirit, he would have not time to think about his age–even to say that he is too old to do God’s work, as he was appointed to do so.

His resignation is evidence that God did not appoint him in the first place, for Holy Spirit is never too old to do His work through a physical medium like the Pope.

Madam, We know that God has appointed you judge and jury but still, how are you in a position to say that age is not the issue here. The old man is frail, weak, can hardly stand straight. You comparing Abraham and Sarah time to now. Do you think they had all these stresses that modern people have. Even in Dominica, our old people are not as strong as the old people of 100 years ago.

Madam, you are not as pure as you believe you are. Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.

You are too funny! I had no choice but to laugh at your sentiment. You were better off to keep quiet, because you are not spiritually qualified to respond against my message–so are those who gave you thumbs up, so don’t take them as credibility for you idea; you are all dead in your carnal condition of the mind–living in the darkness, blindness, and deafness which cannot perceive the “Light” which is Jesus Christ. You all should be more concerned about that “truth”

“You comparing Abraham and Sarah time to now. Do you think they had all these stresses that modern people have”. says Too Hard Too Long

That statement above is enough to point out your stupidity! So you believe in a God who was only concerned about the hardship of the people of old, not the people of today? So why do we claim to be His Children?

Jesus said to us: “Come to me all of you who labour and are carrying heavy loads “I will give you rest”. Matthew 11: 28 Do think that He said that to the people of millions of years ago?

If the Pope knew anything about receiving this this “Rest” of Jesus Christ, by his channel of faith, his physical would be regenerated from day to day, He would live to past 100 years and not knowing he is old, much less for 85–especially that He claimed from the beginning to be a servant of God, in this world.

But you people do not know anything about God and His Love in Life, you have no Spiritual sensitivity, much more for knowledge of Life in the Spirit, how could you all ever understand my messages?

But I am speaking to those who are searching for the “Truth” by the command of Holy Spirit in me, through me He is speaking that “Truth” to them and they are receiving it.

So go ahead and ignore my message, give me thumbs down and speak you alls nonsense contention. I am on my way to complete transformation to stand in God’s presence with the perfection and completeness that is satisfactory to Him, so are those who are receiving His message through me.

You people are accountable to God at the White Throne Judgment Seat–I am keeping mine up to date; I am not responsible for your judgment from God. He knows that I did what He called me to do by His guidance and teachings through Holy Spirit

You know what you remind me of?
Matthew 6:5: And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

        You know what else?
        1 Peter 5:6
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.

Keep judging the rest of us madam but while you do that, take a step back and practice some humility.

      • February 14, 2013

        @Too Hard Too Long February 14, 2013

And here is a few that reminds me of you:

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God

I could go on and on, but that is enough for you. And be sure that I am more accurate about you through those scriptures above than you are about me–for I am able to discern your mentality by simply reading what your write, even if I have never seen you face to face; and I don’t care for that either.

Don’t worry about me not being humble, worry about you existing with a dead soul and a carnal mind. I must preach the Gospel to the world, and that is just what I am doing, God is pleased with me! Have a good evening!

No wonder I am so happy laughing my head off!

      Why?

Because I am getting the thumbs down on a what was intended for a correction which I wrote. Now DNO cleared it and posted it, however within seconds it was censored. So I wonder if some had not read the original contents of my comments.

What on earth are the thumbs down for?

You talk about funny people, we have plenty in Dominica oui!

Anyway what is not read on DNO, it can be found elsewhere, and if there is anyone who would like to address issues affecting Dominica, and would like to get into our blog; you can E-mail me via [email protected] and we will include you when we are disseminating comments and information.

And DNO I wish you do not censor this one because we are no competition to you, we do not advertise, simple tackle issues in Dominica, and talk about the wrong in our country which you do not allow on to your site.

Well number 1 thumbs up is mine to you. I wish I had seen your previous comment. I do not know how I would commend you; but you have a point here.

Don’t worry about those thumbs rating too much. For when a person gets 100 thumbs up for R.I.P, what exactly is the relevance of that rating?

I mean who does not know how to type R.I.P?

I know for comments like mine, people do not have the spiritual wisdom to read and understand my message, but that is not unusual, because the people of Jesus’ days were walking away from following Him, because of that same problem with their state of mind.

He said that “only a few will enter the door of the gate that leads to Eternal Life” I give Him thanks that those few are with me.

Just learn to stay humble in whatever you are called to do–that is all that matters.

The Church which is supposed to be the conscience of the nation is in need of prayers because it is in darkness. Its leadership has strayed and has caused God’s people to stray as well. The faithful must pray for the leadership, and the leadership in turn MUST humble itself before God and pray for divine guidance to lead God’s people CORRECTLY.

Presently, I believe that the Devil himself has infiltrated the Church and its leadership. While I believe that God’s servants must live comfortably, evidence has shown that many church leaders are controlled by materialism – big houses, expensive vehicles, lavish lifestyles, etc.

They choose to turn a blind eye and deaf ear in the face of injustice and other forms of wrong doing in the society. When confronted with the evidence they claim that this is not in their terms of reference and their congregation will not tell them when to speak.
How can the church leaders correct when it is unrepentant of the same sin?
The church leaders have failed the Church, thus contributing in part to the dwindling numbers at church services and activities.
I am a practising member of the Catholic Church, but I am not blind to the short comings of the church leadership. The church goes through cycles, and I am seeing and experiencing the very unpleasant parts of the cycle.
I humbly pray for Divine Intervention, Purging and Healing for the Church and its leadership beginning with myself.

The Pope resigned for good reasons.
“Too many fractions in the Church wanting to put their own brand of outside influence in the beleifs ot the CH.” They are hypocrites, coming in the church as beleivers, but once they get a foot hold on a little power they want to tell the Pope what to change in the CH so he said ” NO”
    1)No on Prist gettng married
    2)No on Gay marriage
    3)No on women becoming prists.
The Catholic Church should remain resolute in all its original teachings and beliefs.
The “Mordern Immorality” of today’s men will not rock this very solid institution.

Doesn’t Bishop Malzaire see we need to call for prayers for what is happening in Dominica before calling for prayers for a new Pope. Charity begins at home. The selection of a new Pope does not need our prayers. He needs to do the job they sent him in Dominica to do.

Bishop Malzaire’s words: “Clergy and faithful alike, pray for the election of a new Pope”. I say, prayers or not, an other cardinal will be elected to replace the retired Pope next month. That’s the way it is.

What we need in Dominica is a whole lot of prayer
to change the mind-set of your flock that has put good over evil. We need you to address the ills of the nation, the hatred, blatant and in your face corruption that is rampant in the governance of our beloved nation. We need to pray for a successful investigation and conviction of those involved in the attempted murder of Hon Gon Emmanuel. Those associated with the government call you: “OUR BOY”. Bishop, we ask that you pontificate to the flock that the country needs to change its course, lies and deception can’t continue with the silence of the majority of those clergy. Prayers for a new Pope? Oh my God,
help our clergy to address the evil deeds of our leaders in the governance of Dominica.

We join all the faithful in praying for a Pope who will continue in building God’s kingdom right here on earth. We pray also that the Church will continue to be a voice for the poor and suffering, the oppressed, those who are marginalized and on the fringes of society. May our faith not only be manifested in words, but also in action.

This news has rocked my catholic faith…it was my belief that once you became pope your duty was to die in service of God. I took this to mean that absolutely nothing should prevent a pope from fulfilling this mission..not age, not illness, not torture, nothing.

If one understands Catholicism… then one realizes the core importance the pope’s office holds. He is the spiritual head of the faith and God’s so-called appointed representative on earth. For Catholics this means that his life mirrors that of Christ and therefore he is expected to endure any pains during his ministry of servitude because that’s what we are asked to do in our lives.

But he gave up..he threw in the towel with no honour, he wasn’t willing to die for the very reason he became pope in the first place, which was suppose to be unconditional love for God.

so if mister can say “I had enough God”, well maybe i can say “not this Sunday God or the next or the next”…maybe i shouldn’t go church altogether.

@Phoenix – Utter nonsense. Where did you get this lie and fable that this mere mortal known as a pope is Almighty God’s representative on earth? I’ve never seen that in God’s word.

Rather God’s word says in 1 Timothy 2:5 – There is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus (KJV).

Start paying attention to God’s word and beware of false belief systems.
