Targeting growing tourism to the Caribbean, World Expeditions has become the first Australian tour operator to include Dominica’s Waitukubuli National Trail in its new Americas brochure.

Released this week, the brochure includes up to 70 holidays covering North, South and Central America.

New to the 2013/14 itineraries are the Inca Trail and Jungle Adventure, the Canadian Rockies introductory mountaineering course, the Great Patagonian Traverse and Hawaii Hiking the Aloha Isles.

Additionally, World Expeditions has also included Dominica’s ‘Nature Island’, the Waitukubuli National Trail to offer hikers a “pretty and rewarding walk”.

The Waitukubuli National Trail was launched last year and up until now was not available commercially.

Reaching up to 183 kilometres long, the trail crosses the entire island, starting from the southern fishing village of Scott’s Head through to the scenic Cabrits National Park on the northern end of the island.

“Dominica offers the ultimate alternative Caribbean escape with spectacular trekking through breathtaking scenery and wild nature,” World Expeditions chief executive Sue Badyari explained.

Other additions to the group’s 2013/14 brochure are the Venezuela – The Lost World and Angel Falls, Family Adventure in Peru as well as the Costa Rica Traverse.

Wake up PM, Wake up minister if tourism, wake up the other workers of the tourist industry. Stop getting pay for doing nothing. Humans are tired of concrete jungles. They need a nice Nature Island to come to let their stress go. Dominica has it all. Promote, Promote, Promote DOMINICA MORE.

That is good news but don’t forget that is the brain child of Bernard Wiltshire and the government of the day stole it from him and his organization.

This government have no ideas of their own for the promotion and development of the tourism industry and Dominica in general.

Some folks on this blog are two faced , waggonists and hacks .Their fingers are quick to “thumbs down ”
Alienated from the truth and willing to live in ignorance and comess . Just look and the model Carib Village ? Was completed as the brains who recommended suggested ? It had so much more potential like those in Belize , Roatan etc .So yes like it or not Wiltshire pressed for The Waitukubuli National Trail , let the man get some recognition whether you like him or his politics .The same Australians that push with him are still pushing because they believed in his vision .
