Tropical Storm Isaac expected to become a hurricane by tonight

Isaac is expected to begin affecting Dominica by Wednesday

A weak high pressure system is expected to be the dominant feature across the area during the next 24 hours. Light winds and daytime heating could produce some cloudiness, localized showers and a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms by afternoon.

At 11 am, Tropical Storm Isaac was located near latitude 14.3 degrees north and  longitude 39.1 degrees west or about 1470 miles east of the Windward Islands.

Isaac is moving westward towards the area at 9 mph with maximum sustained winds now increased to 65 mph. Some strengthening is forecast and Isaac could become a hurricane by later today or tonight.

On the forecast track, Isaac is expected to begin affecting Dominica on Wednesday and passing near to or over Dominica on Thursday. However, activity associated with the system should begin affecting Dominica by Wednesday.

Residents are advised to closely monitor the progress of Isaac and to make all the necessary preparations for the arrival of this system.

Moderate seas are expected during the next 24 hours with waves peaking up to 5.0ft.

Joseph, its not natural. it is geo engineered by the american military, noaa, nasa, alot of big name corperations and so called big world governments They are the weather makers and have been modifiying/manipulating the weather for decades They have done the tests and have the technology .This is done on an extremely massive industrial scale. By land, sea and air. All meteorologist on tv are decieving the m.ass.es. Especially those traitors to humanity on the weather channel. They all know whats going on.
Except fiztroy Pascal and our so called “Dominica Meteorological Service”. I keep wondering how these hurricanes and storms work on the so called spinning ball earth that is going around the sun at 66,600 miles (according to nasa, science and the school text books and another 1000 miles on the so called equator)

    Earth is flat.

  4. Hurricane Skerrit

The good thing is we getting info about the development of any storm or hurricane before they are developed, so we could take the necessary steps to protect ourselves. However hurricane Skerrit comes on us without any notice and always destroying our country. It is rumoured that the Be Venezuelan military, with help from the US is on the verge of taking care of Maduro and solve the problems caused by Maduro. I hope they also have a plan for hurricane Skerrit so our problem could be be fixed once and for all.

    To all concerned.
Hurricane preparedness should be at an advanced stage today.
Designated shelters should be checked and stores moved into place.
Drinking water, food, blankets, lanterns, cooking facilities etc, should be moved into place in all villages and towns by the latest Monday Night.
People should be advised to move out of houses with tarpaulin, into secure shelters.
Houses in areas likely to be flooded by rivers and sea should be advise do move out to more secure grounds.
Elderly and infirm people should be taken to secure buildings, with food and water.
We should be prepared for the worst.
