Tropical storm warning was discontinued for Dominica as Bertha heads into the Caribbean Sea.
As of Saturday morning, Bertha was located about 95 miles south of St. Croix, and 165 miles south-southeast of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Tropical storm warnings are now in effect for Puerto Rico, the U.S. and British Virgin Islands.
Lingering moisture from the passage of Tropical Storm Bertha is expected to result in an increase in cloudiness with some showers and isolated thunderstorms across the island during the morning period.
This will be followed by a gradual drying out of the atmosphere as the day progresses.
Meanwhile, two westward moving tropical waves are located in the Central and far Eastern Tropical Atlantic Ocean, respectively. The first wave is expected to approach the region by Monday.
One reason to preserve and protect our mountains, which in many instances, acts as a natural barrier. Thank God
I apologise for the repetition. Was showing as not published

Thank you for protecting us Father Yahweh. Halleluiah. You are Great, You are majestic, You are a Love and a Forgiving God, Praise be to You,, in the Mighty name of Yeshua.
Have got to say that the communications were great.. About what to do. As a storm virgin, I was directed about what I needed to do by the helpful people on Q95 and was provided with the list of hurricane shelters.
I wish the dj’s could have stayed with us until the storm had fully passed including the strong tailwinds though as they were a great comfort in a time of need. However, they did need to get home, but maybe next time… As their presence really made a difference.
My neighbour was very helpful too. Dominicans can be absolutely fantastic at times of trouble. For this I am grateful as I am from foreign.
Dominicans should be forever grateful for our protective mountain ranges. Thank God, treasure and cherish them.
Thanks Almighty God for protecting Dominica from Bertha. I pray that the Good Lord will protect all the other islands from the force of Bettha.
Thanks Lord
God is good
Wosh!!!! To God be the glory, God is good all the time. All the time God is Good. Great job by all big up to D.B.S and stall for staying on top of things. Night watch was a good thing, we hope going forward we all come together and be each others keeper. At least for one night politics took a back seat. People isn`t there a message in this??? simple! we have to focus on what matters for Dominica regardless of our political leanings. If it has to take an impending TS, for s to put our house in order then so be it. Fellow Dominicans God is not asleep open our eyes to what matters.
Not on the heels of an election, …but point taken.
What message are you talking about. Why are we Dominicans so full of self pity.
Dominica lies almost smack in the middle of the ‘Tropical Hurricane Path.’ We are in the height of the hurricane season. We should be expecting threats from TS and Hurricanes.
What we need to do is to stop all that self pity bullshit and be prepared to deal with these events whenever they confront us.
This needs to become second nature to us because unfortunately it comes with this beautiful island that we call home.
bonjour cela née pas cool j,aime pas sa je pense a vous toutes est aussi a la familles bon courage cela me fiais peur
