Someone wrote that letter for Lennox that is not Lennox words. He hated ALBA and the Government Affiliation with CUBA. A power hungry man like that can never be Dominica’s PM. He had the chance to meet Castro and did not.

Castro was a brutal dictator who followed a philosophy of leadership that impoverished and terrorised Cubans for decades. His leaving this earth is a welcome relief for Cubans.

You think Communism works? Really? Ask Cubans and the rest of the ‘free’ world.

Rev. John De Secalour, DD. , Evangelist.

Thank you for telling it like it is instead of being politically correct.

Nothing but the truth will open the eyes of the people and save the other islands from a disaster like what
      took Cuba down.

Castro’s  revolution was filled with murder, violence, destruction, and heartbreak to bring in communism. How could any knowledgeable person support Castro’s regime :?:

Let us pray that God will protect the people of Dominica and the other Caribbean Islands. Now is the time to evangelize and reap the harvest before Satan lays first claim to the minds of the people. Don’t be surprised if Russia makes a quick move to reinforce its influence in – and its hold on – Cuba at such a time as this.

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill.

In Cuba today a typical factory worker makes $17 a month, Castro killed 141,000 people and 78,000 cubans lost their lives trying to flee Cuba to America. Castro banned Rock & Roll and Christmas day, there was no freedom of speech, no freedom of assembly, no freedom of the press. Prisons filled with political dissidents, religious dissidents.

Thanks to the UWP Govt.of 1995 the State accepted Cuban scholarships for poor children to study in Cuba additional to those obtained by the DLP of Roosie and Pero. Charles Savarin, Charles Maynard, Brian Alleyne, Babs Dyer, Rupert Sorhaindo and Eugenia Charles refused such schools for FIFTEEN YEARS!!

  11. Lennox, perhaps you would be better off not offering condolences to the people of Cuba on the death of Fidel, because the majority of Cubans in Cube are happy that tyrant is dead!

If you are capable of receiving American Television, perhaps you have seen the thousands of Cubans in the streets in every Cuban community in America, dancing in the streets and casting derogatory remarks about that tyrant!

Take a que (Q) from this:

“Senator Marco Rubio thinks it would be a travesty to turn Fidel Castro into a folk hero, because the reality is he was a brutal dictator who must now answer to God.
Rubio doesn’t think Castro’s death will have a material change on Cuba since he hasn’t been in power for a decade.

The Florida senator has been indignant at the revisionist history on Castro and Cuba, and he’s feeling clearly didn’t soften just because Castro died.(Marco Rubio).

marco Rubio ‘s family came out of cuba before castro and real Cubans revolted against the American backed corrupted government of batista, the Cubans in America of which are 90% illegals are sellouts who have no pride in their country same as you, marco Rubio is a sing along American cia puppet an uncle tom monkey, the Cuban revolution is responsible for the educating and liberation of south Africa and regions, these people who have lived and fought alongside their leader are very proud, and so is the African American community of which Obama played major role, a slap in the face of America’s white supremacy, wait till the Obama legacy kicks in and you will see the effect, you think you living heaven, but you living in hell.

      • Okay I agree with that since we caught Rubio lying about his family running from Cuba during the revolution; but that should not distract from the fact that Fidel Castro was no hero. And mind you while there is no actual economy in Cuba to this day, the Castro’s are as wealthy as all the former dictators before them.

Batista was perhaps corrupt; and Cuba was a play ground for the mafia, the same as Las Vegas was; however, the people had a means of earning a living by working, and even when Castro took the homes, and land of people away to give to those he claimed poor or the have not! The people who benefited were already very wealthy!

So, in reality he simply brought poverty, and misery on the poor in Cuba.

        To Francisco Etienne- Dods Telemaque

Why are you so abusive calling someone a dog simply because he shares a different opinion than you, it only displays your character. DNO why do you allow such behavior, this is not the first time that Francisco- Etienne Dods Telemaque has done such thing, is this not a violation of you comment policy.

Sir, don’t pretend to know what the majority of Cubans in Cuba feel about the Comandante en Hefe. Don’t speak on what you know nothing about. Cuba has contributed much more to Dominica than you have or can ever dream of in your lifetime, so continue sitting behind your computer spewing nonsense!

FET, there is a campaign for every opportunity. It is time to be reverence and civil and offer sympathies. Hon Linton and His UWP Team did exceptionally well. did well. The other issues of Cuba the dictatorial aggressive punitive will on its people will be discussed at another forum. Stay tuned.
Human Rights has been severely imposed on the people of Cuba.

As for me a dictator passed and that’s it. What heck he did for Cuba when he took all their wealth and give to the region in his attempt to buy their friendship? Like Chavez, the man was a big dictator that impoverished his people for his personal agenda. He was just like Chavez who died and left his people in gross poverty, while Skerrit and his corrupt gang had his Petro Caribe check book writing checks black is white and Venezuellans had no toilet to wipe their butts. You mean to tell me when Skerrit dies all you will say he did well when kept Dominicans in poverty and employed foreigners to do what we could do? Heck with politics and call a spade by it name. Dictator Gadaffie, Castro, Chavez all died and unfortunately for us, they were all friends of …….. Skerrit, the other dictator that will soon realize that our journey here is short and we can carry nothing when we going.
