Regardless of intensity, a deterioration in weather conditions is expected across Dominica during today into tonight with moderate to heavy showers, thunderstorms and winds gusting to tropical storm force by this afternoon into Monday.

Very rough seas are expected to begin affecting Dominica by this afternoon through to Monday. All users of the sea are advised to take all necessary precautions to protect life and property.

Current rainfall amount projected for Dominica is between 2 to 4 inches (50 to 100mm) with higher amounts in elevated areas.

  • Mariners and other users of the sea should remain extremely cautious and make all necessary preparation to protect property and should return to port by early Sunday. A High-Surf Advisory and Small-Craft Warning are now in effect up to 12pm Monday July 9, 2018. Large waves and dangerous rip-currents will create unsafe conditions for small-craft operators.
  • People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks are advised to be extremely vigilant and to exercise extreme caution as life threatening flash flooding is possible from Sunday night. A flood warning will be in effect for Dominica from 12 noon Sunday July 8 to 2pm Monday July 9, 2018.

Man bite Dog, you just confirm that you are a fool: You say plenty of nasty things about me, but there is no sense in the stupid question you ask DNO.

If people do not pray and ask God to spear them from the ravages of a hurricane, after experiencing Maria, who should they pray to you who hate God, and deny he exists, or should they pray to your god Roosevelt Skerrit?

You are an idiot boy; dumb, dumb, dumb Jan sot, sot sot oui!

      Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

Why would somebody call you from Spain to ask question when they can tune into a Radio Station in Dominica via the Internet.

Is lie you lie so eh, eh, eh, One minute you try to give the impress you in Dominica, next minute you pretend you are in Dominica, which is true and which is the lie?

      You old liar; liar!

It’s not over but God is good. The calming of the winds and the lessening of the rainfall are of a great relief but everyone should remain vigilant as it is not quite over as yet. When this has passed, I hope the administration will put much more focus, resources and effort in repairing shelters, restoring and repairing roofs, so that people will be in a much better position to ride out future storms. Keep safe everyone.
