Of course, mr. Skerrit can call an election under the existing legislation and take his chances. Whether such an election would be free and fair is subject to non-partisan judgement. Meanwhile It should be noted that Christian Zerpa, a Venezuelan Supreme Court judge and long term government loyalist of the Caracas regime has fled to the U.S. This in protest over the inauguration for a second term of president Maduro, citing that the vote was not free and that the high court has become an appendage of mr. Maduro’s inner circle. Sounds familiar?
With regard to our P.M.’s press conference yesterday. I found it highly staged, never a good sign, and the actors’ performance distinctly lacklustre. Of course, that is my personal opinion

What a joke, what a farce… Three so called journalist ask the dictator breapproved questions. The answers in true Skerrit style: a good dose of rethoric, the usual propaganda and plenty of lies. When is Dominica going to wake up and stop this man. In the absence of true journalism if falls to me and to all of us to ask Skerrit some proper questions that need answering:
    1) can the PM provide us with the criteria under which these new houses are being allocated
    2) can the PM provide us with independent audited accounts of PetroCaribe
    3) can the PM provide us with independent audited accounts of the CBI program
    4) can the PM provide us with an account of his travel expenses for the last 3 financial years
    5) can the PM provide us with accounts of the distribution of all donated aid after Maria
    6) can the PM provide us with a copy of the MOU with PR China
    7) can the PM provide us with a written statement as to when the hospitals in Goodwill and Marigot will be finished

Mr. Rossnof, those are pertinent questions the public needs answers to. Those three individuals are featherweight journalists. This was an exercise in futility. The country is still in complete darkness about the questionable but extremely topics that you have mentioned. These three interviewers have left an indelible stain on journalism.

As far I know no one has filed a report with the police—— Please listening to this guy was such a waste of time—2019 is the beginning of the end for you Skerrit…..

After several weeks of absence he returns to the country and talks his usual BS and gives us his usual lies. Skerrit, what we want from you is: electoral reform, the dismissal of Blackmoore, the accounts of PetroCaribe and the accounts for the CBI program. If you can’t or don’t want to deliver on either of them you need to go. We had enough of you. Go back to the States!

A lot of waffle. Nothing pertinent and a rehash of old promises. No real beef in there or concrete figures. If that was suppose to be a state of the nation address I am deeply disappointed. My fault really. I should not put my expectations too high. A dogs dinner and if anyone says I should not be so negative I say I must speak up, especially if it is such poor quality presentation by the man who is suppose to lead and inspire us because I bloody well do care about our country it is not only Roosevelt Skerrit’s you know. Sorry pal but I can not vote for you again because I know you cannot change, is like a disease that is in your genes.

This was supposed to be a year in review but it seems like Skerrit knew the questions and again was campaigning. I found it strange he had a stack of papers with specific answers for some questions. Since the PM hit the opposition so hard is the press going to provide them equal opportunity to share thier views and to respond to claims and accusation made by him? In a progressive democracy it would be good that the public gets equal perspective so they can make a well informed decision on who to lead them. When asked about Ross the PM answered about demands immediately after the hurricane. That was deceptive. Ross made demands way before hurricane that was not addressed. No farmers were shipping any product by end od 2017 and the idea that a nobody has international friends but labour party is BS. Venezuela had diplomatic relations with Dominica way before Skerrit and so to were many other countries. These relationships are with the people through whichever gov in office. Liar!!

@lbo France, You couldn’t have said it better. Unfortunately most people in Dominica are afraid to ask this DR DR PM those important questions. I really don’t know what they’re so afraid of. I really give up on those people. I never see or heard such nonsense in my life. Anyway is only in Dominica those things can happen. So happy I don’t have to call this guy my leader 😜

I have often repeated this phrase- “Dominica is unique for all the wrong reasons”. What really sealed it for me about the gullibility, ignorance and doltishness of many, not all, Dominicans, is when they went to greet and celebrate with Mr. Skerrit, at the airport, on his return to Dominica after he collected his second useless, ornamental doctorate. This cult-like support for a most undeserving, nakedly corrupt man, with dictatorial inclinations, literally frightened me. Dominica Is Unique!

These journalists are cheerleaders of the DLP. They asked Mr. Skerrit only cotton candy questions. Where were the pertinent questions about livable wages for public servants, the missing $100 000 000 of LetroCaribe money, lowering of the astronomical figures of unemployment, lack of transparency and accountability of the CBI transactions, reduction of the potbellied government, the repatriation of the national birds, the present healthcare crisis. Why is it that most PMH patients who have the monetary means, have to seek medical attention overseas? Why is Dominica languishing at the rear end in all aspects of economic development? The PM gloating about ROSS replacement when nothing concrete has been accomplished, preposterous indeed. He still believes that handing out a few shiny objects on special occasions to children and keeping a few fêtes for young adults are humongous accomplishment. Too many Dominicans are too easily satisfied and credulous.

      An interview replete with lies!!!!!!!
He also made it look like is the opposition that does not want Electoral Reform..Kertis asked a question, whether we may have another Election without Electoral Reform, Skerrit answered yes.
This was the biggest piece of madness of the night …Is it Skerrit to decide that?
      Skerrit Must Go
      Skerrit Must Go
      LAZY Skerrit Must Go Now

%, Skerrit and his sheep-like worshippers will forever despise you because you are analytical and perceptive. They like gullible and ignorant people who they can easily bamboozle. Brainwashing the foul-mouthed ignoramuses to spread their filthy propaganda is their mode of operation. There are a few of them in this forum who have taken the bait. I’m sure they are going to creep out of their dark places to praise and defend their propagandistic leader for a job well done.
