We should not take comfort in beating Bangladesh. We are expected to beat teams that are as weak as Bang.

For too long what we had was a board that did not know how to manage in this era of very wealth cricketer and a players union that was only concerned about milking the cow for all they could get.

I hope they can both start concentrating on winning and get used to that idea.

The idea of a meritocracy is the best thing to happen to the collective agreement. That thing about being paid to fail should be a thing of the past. Let their performance be an incentive to make big money.

Thank you DNO for giving us the opportunity to view this Press Conference. It’s very encouraging to see Clive Lloyd back in the forefront of West Indies Cricket. His interview in particular was very encouraging indeed. West Indies Cricket became the laughing stock of the Cricketing Nations. In the days of Lloyd, we were feared as we were the best. As Lloyd said many May think that beating Bangladesh was nothing to write home about but it was a victory! I now want us to beat India!!! And the rest!! I have every confidence that if Lloyd is listened to by the Board and the other Selectors we can safely say ‘West Indies Cricket is back!!’
