The Dominica State College (DSC) has announced that it has postponed the commencement of the new semester to September 7.
A statement from the Office of the Registrar said that the institution’s registration process was hampered Tropical Storm Erika.
However, all the college’s administration offices are open to continue the registration process. Registration also continues on the DSC’ Orbund system.
Lecturers and staff are invited to a special meeting on September 1 starting at 10:00a.m. in the auditorium.
“At this time our college is particularly reaching out to its staff and students who have been directly affected by this disaster. Be assured that, by the grace of God, we will bounce back,” the statement said.
I like the design of the building, the architecture has my approval; I cannot critique it, but I will critique Skerrit though; cause he is taking to long to have the college developed into a four year college, where he might return and get his degree in English and psychology!
Him aint gat no degree oui!
Hahahahahahahhaahahahahahahahahahahahahhah!
you this telemaque guy ,you just a darn ……. with lots of issues looking for attention..now is not the time to be writing garbage on here..you should take time out to write something positive concerning the destruction and suffering of my beloved nature island and the people of my country..you sit your … some place on this planet and all you do is talk trash about the prime minister..man get a life!
What you all Dominicans want. You all are too ungrateful. Give thanks.
It should be pushed back further than the 7th of september taking into consideration the affected students from the north, Portsmouth in particular and other areas affected by TS Erika.
Would be great if the students at DSC could work with the engineers and technicians in the field who have come in from Cuba, etc.
