The Office of Disaster Management (ODM) and the Met Office are warning residents of an approaching weather system which could affect Dominica this week.

The weather in Dominica could start deteriorating as early as Tuesday evening.

In an advisory on Monday morning, the ODM said that shower and thunderstorm activity associated with a low-pressure system is located about 1,150 miles east south-east of the Windward island and conditions are favourable for it to develop into a tropical depression later this week .

“Residents must monitor the progress of this system and should be prepared to take action when advised to do so,” Fitzroy Pascal of the ODM said.
“If the low-pressure system maintains its current motion, it should be in our area from Wednesday into Thursday, however, there could be some deterioration in weather conditions by Tuesday night.

He said residents and mariners should listen to local radio stations for weather information from the Met Office and advisories from the ODM.

Meanwhile, the Met Office said high winds, rough seas and moderate to heavy rainfall are expected from the system.

It said interests in Dominica should closely monitor the progress of this system and take all the necessary precautions to protect life and property.

In the meantime, weak unstable conditions will continue to produce cloudiness, scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms across parts of the island chain during the next 24 hours.

Thereafter, a relative improvement in conditions will be short-lived on Tuesday before the approach of the Tropical System on Wednesday.

Slight to moderate sea conditions are expected during the next 24 hours with waves peaking near 5.0 feet. Thereafter, seas are expected to deteriorate late Tuesday intoThursday peaking near 12.0 feet. All sea users and persons living near the coast are advised to take the necessary precautionary measures.

DNO will publish all information and advisories on the system as it becomes available from both the Met Office and ODM.

while we are thanking God for showers of blessing. lets ask him to protect the people and villages and live stock in low lying areas that are prone to flooding. lets us pray for protections for persons in places prone to landslides and falling rocks. As that he will cover everyone under his precious blood. Most importantly, lets pray for a re–direction of any storm that may affect our land.

    September 26, 2016

As Dr. Skerritt well knows, the US and its allies (Russia, EU, etc.) via the HAARP and CERN, the attendant geoengineering programs and the USAF Weather Warfare Department, now totally control the weather on earth.

May he please contact our US friends and request them to avert this impending disaster and to apologise to them on our behalf for any of our misdeeds that may have caused them to inflict this weather punishment upon us.

Many thanks in advance Dr. Skerritt.
