ODM monitors tropical wave

tropical waveThe Office of Disaster Management (ODM) has said it continues to monitor the progress of an active tropical wave.

Information from the Meteorological Service indicates that the tropical wave is moving across the island chain, including Dominica.

“As a result, shower and possible thunderstorm activity will continue to affect the island into Tuesday. Persons in vulnerable areas should be vigilant and exercise extreme caution in moving around due to the possibilities of landslides, falling rocks and flash flooding. Additionally, persons living close to rivers and ravines should monitor these waterways as they can become swollen from intense rains,” the ODM said.

Residents should continue to monitor reports issued by the local Met Service and stay tuned to their local radio stations.

So you mean to tell me that rain does not fall on an international airport? The tropical wave is not heading to Dominica alone, these systems head to the region every year they bring the rain after the dry season. We should not wish for something to cause destruction to the airport that is all we have for now!!

Typical insanity! You use the tongue in 2 different ways. This should not be according to the bible. You are asking God to put his mighty hands over the Country and in the next breath you are asking for the destruction of Melville Hall. Are you in good mind. We need to be thankful for what we have now which is Melville Hall Airport. Ask God to preserve it also. God does not like ugly or ungratefulness or hypocrisy. When we are thankful and grateful for the small things, then we will be endowed with the bigger things in this instance we can desire the International Airport but it is Jehovah who is the boss of this world. We cannot speak evil of others and expect the Lord to hear our prayers. We are asked to pray, forgive and love one another even those who hurt us. By the way we all have one common enemy and not the physical persons. The common enemy works through them so we have to pray for deliverance for our flesh brothers and sisters. God does not want none to perish.
