Severe weather update #4 for Dominica

weather-map

Heavy rains, gusty winds, and scattered thunderstorms are expected in Dominica in the next 24 to 36 hours as the island is being affected by a weather system.

A strong tropical wave accompanied by a broad area of low pressure just east of the Lesser Antilles continue to show signs of organization.

Residents in Dominica are advised to take all precautionary measures to protect life and property.

The general public is strongly advised to monitor the progress of this system as watches or warnings could be required at any time.

Buoy data indicate that the system is producing winds to near tropical storm force and an Air Force Reserve reconnaissance aircraft is scheduled to investigate the system again later this morning.

Environmental conditions appear to be favorable for development and a tropical depression or tropical storm is likely to form during today and a tropical storm warning or watch could be issued for Dominica once the system is upgraded.

The system is moving westward to west-northwestward at 15 to 20 mph, and is expected to move over the Windward Islands during today and Thursday.

Dangerous seas are expected during the next 24 hours with waves peaking near 14 to 16 feet.

All sea users and persons living near the coast are advised to take the necessary precautionary measures.

My prayer is that there be no rain, no wind, no storm no damage to that of honest hard working Dominica. If anything that of those corrupt ones, especially the villas so we could see who will try to get compensation for villas. Corruption kills and destroys!

May the God of the winds and rain watch over us. Protect us from harm. Grant us the wisdom to act accordingly.

There is only ONE God. There are no ‘gods’. Read the KJV Bible to find out more (the other versions are being edited out by the pagans.
