Another weather system, Tropical Storm Fred, formed in the far eastern Atlantic Ocean on Sunday morning.
According to the Weather Channel, Fred was located about 315 miles east-southeast of Praia in the Cape Verde Islands as of Sunday morning.
The system is expected to strengthen over the next few days and could be near hurricane status early this week as it moves to the west-northwest.
A tropical storm warning and a hurricane watch have been issued for the Cape Verde Islands.
It’s already a hurricane…and as the weather people are finding it strange that, it formed so much closer to Africa than normal.
With that said, everything the forecasters said about Erika did not fall in place. They said that ,it would upgrade to cat. 1 hurricane approaching Florida. Nothing like that.
With good reasoning they’re only human not GOD, can’t always tell us for sure.
So people whenever you’ll hear a storm form out there, immediately start taking precaution until it is all clear.
