A tropical wave is expected to result in an increase in cloudiness with showers and isolated thunderstorms across the island during the next 24 hours.
However, most of the heaviest showers and thunderstorms can be expected mainly across the southern portion of the island chain.
Persons in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks are advised to be vigilant and to exercise caution.
Moderate seas are expected during the next 24 hours with waves peaking near 8.0 feet. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
