Wesley man charged with murder

Glentist Baptiste, 18, of Wesley has been charged with the murder of Palmer Phillip Belsuget also of Wesley.

Police Public Relations Officer, Inspector Simon Edwards, said that Baptiste was charged on the 21st of December, 2018.

“The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force has concluded investigations into a homicide and has charged Glentist Baptiste, male, 18 years of Wesley, with murder of his uncle Palmer Phillip Belsuget, male, 54 years of Wesley. The deceased, Palmer Belsuget was struck with a concrete block by Baptiste on Friday 21st December, 2018 at Wesley and was a patient at the Princess Margret Hospital (PMH) until his death on Wednesday 2nd of January 2019,” Edwards reported.

Baptiste will appear in court on Monday 7th January, 2019.

    DNO as a form of respect for the Honorable Minister for National Security, Mr. Raymond Blackmore, no article about murder charge should be published the same day Blackmore is in the news defending his good name. Honorable Blackmore is a good man with a good reputation and therefore he should not be in the news the same day a eighteen years old is charged with murder of a young lady. Maybe you should post Blackmore story tomorrow, when no one is charged for murder

        Actually I wrote this comment under the wrong heading. She was fished out of the sea in canefield. Checked the other news headline for further info. My sympathies
