Can you recall his closing theme song on the MP in the PM Show? Yeah, it concluded like this….”the rest is up to you, think of it”. He was in Room 101 together with Francis Henny Samuel and Charles Xavier at the SMA and I was in Room 102 together with Ken Richards.

I know that MP in the PM was on the airwaves before Hurricane David. But “Bugs” helped shape DBS (now in its 40th Year). Can we expect to hear something from DBS on his (MP’s) contribution to the development of DBS (even though the death announcement on DBS made no mention of his past affiliation to the nation’s station.

        …or Felix and Ted.
Bugs spent the two days following Hurricane David living in DBS with Felix Henderson; surviving on contributions from fans of the radio station.
He also did the first broadcast following the hurricane from a battle ship anchored in the Roseau Harbour.
I’m really saddened that they (DBS) just read his death announcement without any mention of his contribution to the radio station.

Very sorry and shocked to learn of the death of MP in the PM as I also remember him. Always had a larger than life smile, and a very easy-going person.
Sincere condolences to his family, your loss is tremendous but take refuge in all the good memories that you have of him.

Sincere condolences to the family. I remember the “MP in the PM” on DBS. The death announcement on DBS made no mention of his affiliation with the radio station, so I was unsure whether this was the person being referred to. He certainly made a major contribution to broadcasting in those earlier years at DBS. May his soul rest in peace.

Michael’s place in our family was carved out many years ago, and we will see him in his two sons, and always remember him. He loved his boys and was dedicated to be a part of their daily lives. We will miss him and the days at the kitchen table, just being family. Rest peacefully with God, there is no pain in heaven.

BS Admin,Tim has how many % shares in DNO? He of all persons/people ought to be in the fore of seeing that it was done.
More BS, haven’t you not posted topics with little information then state you will update as infor comes in? Poor effort at attempting to justify your failure. I guess despite new ownership, the staff remains and the mediocre BS continues.Give me a break, you are just incompetent and need to step-up on your logic. If you guys are in the news business for christ sake make/state an acceptable justification effort.

Okay claude ,how derrick? I hear you loud and clear SMA days miss marie’s bakes and cooconut cheese. Piwi and Miss Punie’s bread a bonjaw were some of Bugs favorite back in the day.
I recall my days with him at SMA,carnival he loved to hover in the semi background.Last time I spoke and met with bugs was 96 when he visited home. I soon migrated to new york and never laid eyes on him even if we both reside in the big apple.
So close and yet so far.
Bugs was one of a kind in more way than one.
      rest in peace my buddy.
