Building Damage Assessment (Part 11)

The Ministry of Housing facilitated a two-day workshop on the Building Damage Assessment with the support of the UNDP at the Office of Disaster Management. The first day focused on the Methodology, Results and Recommendations of this Project while the second day focused on Monitoring of Reconstruction Activities and Disaster Preparedness.

This workshop was aimed at BDA Assessors, technical ministerial staff and our various partners in recovery efforts in Dominica. Participants received first hand information on components of the BDA, its applications, disaster preparedness, GIS and had the opportunity to discuss recommendations and dialogue with each other.
