Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of villas with the highest standard of sanitation. The Villa Host may be required to prepare breakfast on request. The Villa Host must be pleasant, honest, friendly, communicate clearly and able to address guest requests and problems.
The ideal candidate must have completed secondary level education, have experience in housekeeping and be able to cook simple meals. Living in or near Portsmouth is preferred.
Assist the Guest Services Manager in ensuring an exceptional experience for guest on-site and island by personally meeting with all guests in order to plan and coordinate all activities and special services.
Candidates should be certified in Hospitality & Tourism Studies and are expected to have knowledge of local attractions, including restaurants, bar, national events, service providers, as well as possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in a similar position is preferred.
Villa Host Supervisor
Reporting to the Villa Services Manager, the Villa Host Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Villa Hosts ensuring standards of cleanliness are maintained in villas and public areas as well as ensuring in villa pre-stocking, pre-arrival preparation of villas, laundry as well as ensuring that food and beverage are managed efficiently for an exceptional guest experience.
The ideal candidate must be certified in the field of Tourism & Hospitality with Previous experience at Supervisory level particularly in Housekeeping and must be knowledgeable of housekeeping standards. Candidates must also be highly organized while possessing excellent communication skills both written and oral and must also have a keen eye for detail.
Villa Services Manager
Responsible for the overall operation of the villas and management of the team including coordination of services ensuring guests needs are met at all times while maintaining the companies very high standards. Takes a lead role in resolving guest issues to ensure a memorable experience.
Must have served in a leadership capacity at a luxury villa establishment working as part of a team. Must have extremely high work standards, be customer-focused, be conscientious and highly organised.
