The family of the late Arlinton Joseph Riviere announces his passing on Saturday, 22nd August, 2015 in Toronto Canada where he resided.
Brother Arlington Riviere was a civil servant of the Commonwealth of Dominica and worked as a Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, for a number of years.
He served under the Governments of the Patrick John, Oliver J Seraphine and the late E.O. Leblanc and Dame Mary Eugenia Charles. Following his retirement from the Public Service he served as Director of the OAS in Dominica.
He is survived by:
Wife Rita Riviere
Children Val, Shirley, Culvin, Cheryl, Tony, Carol and Bryan
Brothers Kingston, F.O. Riviere, William Parry, Newton and Vick Riviere
Sisters: Doreen and Madrie Riviere
Grand Children, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was laid to rest in Canada on Thursday, 27th August 2015 and is presently reunited with his deceased mother, father, brother Raglan Riviere and nephew Desmond Francis.
