DYEO expresses condolences for member and Dominican student in Venezuela Kedron Popo

Kedron Popo

The executive committee and general membership of the Dominica Youth Environment Organisation (DYEO) Inc. would like to offer its sincerest condolences to the family and friends of DYEO member Mr. Kedron Popo, who passed suddenly in December 2010 while pursuing studies in Venezuela.

Mr. Popo was a dedicated member and will forever be missed for his adventurous and enthusiastic nature and various environmental exploits, including mentorship of the Dominica State College Environmental Club and Grandmasters Entertainment.

Kedron

The organisation is deeply surprised and saddened by this sudden news and has lost a very promising member and Dominican citizen.

Rest in peace Kedron and do enjoy the comforts and company of the Heavenly Father.

Dear Family of Mr. Kedron Popo, I am saddened to learn of the death of this promising young man whilst in the prime of his development. As I reflect on his passing I think of the words mentioned at Job 14:14 where the patriach asked the question, ” If an able bodied man dies can he live again?”. The answer is a resounding Yes!! The proof is in the Bible: Acts 24:15; John 5:28, 29; tell of the resurrection to life on an earth transformed into a paradise. Revelation 21:4 shows that death and sickness will be no more. So no more bad news about the passing of a loved one. Instead we will welcome the ones we have lost unexpectedly back to this earth under the rulership of our Ransomer Jesus Christ as King of God’s righteous Kingdom. That indeed is a wonderful prospect. The scene of the world is changing and very soon sin and all its effects will pass away. So while we await this wonderful new world free from sickness and death remember the words of Psalms 55:22 ” Throw your burden upon Jehovah himself, And he himself will sustain you. Never will he allow the righteous one to totter. So rest Mr. Popo until Jesus utters the words he did to Lazarus at John 11:43, ” .. Come on out!”. To your family and friends I say finally, have faith in these words, ” For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus out Lord.”

    With Love and heartfelt sympathies,

Andrea ( From Barbados) email: [email protected]

I am sorry for your loss..

But please don’t say gone too soon, for no one knows his appointed time. Our lives are not ours as its only loaned unto us. Do you know if you are going to die tonight? Or tomorrow? Or next week? If you knew, what would you do differently today? God’s waiting.

      Love and Blessings my friend.

ps.. Before you condemn me, think of what you are going to say for if you do believe there is a God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, that’s in whose name I bring you these words…

May his soul rest in peace …I pray that God will comfort the families and friends…Young people are just dying these days. No longer can we say death is for the elderly. Death has no face, it doesnt regard age nor status. As youth let us draw closer to Christ and make our election and calling sure.
