ANNOUNCEMENT: Dominican needs your help to save his life

Dominican Ali Alfred of Eggleston is in urgent need of funding to undergo an expensive operation to save his life.

Ali was originally diagnosed with severe hypertension in 2000 when he was only 20 years old. Later his kidneys began to fail which was attributed to his high blood pressure.

In 2013, while on a visit to a church conference in Barbados, it seemed God saw it fit to have Ali seek a second opinion from a nephrologist, a kidney specialist not available in Dominica. Ali was diagnosed with Conns Disease a rare disease found in only 1% of people with hypertension.

Ali is in need of a kidney transplant. By God’s grace a donor has been found and it now seems that the only way to improve his condition is to undergo a 75,000 USD operation in Trinidad.

This is where the public is being asked to help save Ali’s life.

Please help Ali on this life-saving quest that can no longer continue with the support of only his friends and family – Ali is the sole provider of a family of six.

Please donate via the gofundme link provided below. Even the smallest donation will help save Ali’s life.

UWP makes people believe it is a curse to seek assistance in times of need, Ali my boy don’t be afraid, the red clinic has no colours go there and seek the necessary assistance from your government through the PUBLIC ASSISTANCE PROGRAM… This is a working and caring government for the people by the people, UWP say they will stop it immediately that’s why we will not vote for them!!!!!!!

Agree they will not let the public have it but they will share it among their friends and family.

Wow!!..what seething maliciousness and misinformation. Stop spreading falsehoods. The UWP advocates for a proper and accountable system for public assistance as opposed to the current shameful distribution by one man for the sole reason of political aggrandizement.
Why do we selectively blind ourselves to the truths that debilitate our people and overall economic advancement. I pray one day that Dominicans will stop seeing everything through Political Lens and be genuinely honest with ourselves in the advancement of our people and country as a whole.

btw, Ali received some assistance from the Gov’t. as Gov’t is for all. So stop this divisive nonsense.

you have no idea what you saying, the Public Assistance Program is a well organize program with various public servants receiving and reviewing each case on their merits.

I wonder if you ever been to the office or you just repeating the rubbish you hear on de mat, but i can tell you Lennox who is my brother said openly a uwp government will scrap such program as it is creating a mendicancy society, he will create WORK so everybody will get WORK to feed themselves irrespective of whom!!!! he is on record saying that…..
