VACANCY NOTICE – DIRECTOR OF SECURITY

 

DOMINICA AIR & SEA PORTS AUTHORITY

 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Director of Security at the Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Sc in Criminal Justice preferred, and/or Diploma from a recognized Police Training Academy with supplemental courses in law enforcement
  • Minimum of ten (10) years experience in law enforcement or related field
  • Training and/or experience in law enforcement
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Mature individual who demonstrates a high level of integrity and discipline

 

 

CORE FUNCTIONS

The Director of Security is responsible for coaching, managing and ensuring the training of personnel who provide frontline security and protection of air and sea travelers, airports and seaports in keeping with the relevant protocols and legislation, and any other properties under the control of the Authority.

 

 

REMUNERATION AND CONDITIONS OF RECRUITMENT

An attractive remuneration package will be offered.  The position will be contractual for two years in the first instance, subject to renewal based on performance.
