The Newtown Fisheries Cooperative Society Ltd. (NFCSL) invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Operations Manager within the business structure of the (NFCSL) based at the Newtown Fisheries Cooperative Society Ltd. Building.
Under the supervision of the Board of Directors, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the planning, direction and coordination of the business operations of the (NFCSL). The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.
The Applicant must possess the following qualifications and competencies:-
- College degree in business administration, commerce and/or management a plus
- Industry relevant production/management experience
- Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
- Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of human resource principles and practices
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices
- Information technology skills
- knowledge of office administrative procedures
- proficient in relevant software applications
The successful Applicant is expected to perform duties in an office and on the field as required.
