That’s a huge drop in new cases since the last published data. Is this the total for that period or is this a daily average? It would be interesting to know. If this trend continues it would be an indication that we are finally getting to grip with this virus although there is also a slight increase in the number of deaths. I would also like to see a higher number of people getting vaccinated and boosted. Also learned recently that the Queen of the UK has also contracted the virus, probably passed on by her son who had also recently contracted the virus. Taking into account her age the people of the UK are hoping that it is only the mild form of the virus she is suffering from. But then again she is fully vaccinated so they might not be too concerned unless she is to frail to cope with it.
