    Welcoming so mahy cruise ships carrying covid infected vaccinated passengers is a really really stupid and shortsighted idea.

      Well we could just let the country starve instead. It’s probably better to die of hunger eventually than having a 1% chance to die of the coronavirus.

      And yes we do need Tourism in order to eat. The country doesn’t produce anything of significance. Our main sources of income are agriculture, tourism and CBI. The less we have the less we are able to provide for ourselves.

      Even if your job is not in any of those things the people you work with, work for or sell to will be affected by the economic downturn from losing one of our major sources of foreign exchange.

      Those government houses and programs, healthcare, roads etc are not free. We might use most of it for free but the money to put them there has to come from somewhere
