COVID-19 deaths in Dominica are now at 10 per the latest statistics dated 18th September, 2021, from the Ministry of Health. The number of new cases has dropped to 16 and active cases now total 665.

Assuming population of approx 70,000 only 30% 0f Dominicans have received two shots of vaccine.. That is not good enough to arrive at herd immuity….. if we continue in this way we will be dealing with Covid 19 for a long time with the associated negative effects on quality of life, hospitalisations, downturn on the economy,
